Biology Club: APPW2025 Presentation

It`s the Biology Club! We participated in the high school student presentations at APPW2025 (the 130th General Meeting of the Japanese Society of Anatomy, the 102nd General Meeting of the Japanese Physiological Society, and the 98th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Pharmacological Society)* held at Makuhari Messe (International Conference Center and International Exhibition Center) from March 17th to 19th.

The high school student presentations took place at the International Exhibition Center from the morning of the 18th (Tuesday), and once again strong schools including SSH and SGH gathered, with 63 presentations submitted. These presentations were divided into eight blocks, and each block was judged by its own judges, with the awards ceremony held in the afternoon.

The Biology Club brought in two presentations** and did well, but unfortunately we missed out on the top prize. However, this conference brings in high-level research from all over the country, so we were able to see what other schools are doing, and we hope to use the questions from the judges in our research for the new year. Thank you very much.

*This is an international joint conference where researchers from the Japanese Society of Anatomy, Physiology, and Pharmacology come together to present and discuss the results of their research (there are also plans for stamp rallies at corporate booths, drink service, and food trucks). The high school student presentations on the second day of the conference brought together high-level research (anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, etc.) from all over the country, providing a place for interaction.
