Biology Club Final Conference Held

This is the Biology Club! This year’s poster and oral research presentations are just around the corner. In particular, the “High School Bio Summit” (Preliminary: Zoom, Final: Real) to be held next month will see the participation of strong schools from all over the country, including SSH, so we invited Biology Club graduates to hold the “Final Conference” on Saturday, July 26th.

On the day, oral presentations using PowerPoint were made by two third-year students and two first-year students who were scheduled to give presentations. During the question and answer session after the presentations, the former ace graduates, who were well-seasoned, asked sharp questions in rapid succession, making it a meaningful conference with a tense atmosphere.

The first-year students, as well as the third-year students who made their presentations, were feeling nervous, but they hope to demonstrate their full potential in the preliminary rounds (Zoom) at the 15th High School Student Bio Summit in Tsuruoka to be held next month, and then in the finals (Real: Keio University Advanced Life Sciences, Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture), they will face many SSHs and strong schools without feeling intimidated, and aim to win a prize.
