Biology Club wins Excellence Award at High School Science Research Presentation!

It`s the Biology Club! On Sunday, November 16th, our students gave oral presentations on three of their papers (one by two second-year students and two by two first-year students) at the Nihon Pharmaceutical University High School Science and Research Presentation (sponsored by Nihon Pharmaceutical University), held at Nihon Pharmaceutical University (Ina Town). One of the first-year students won the Excellence Award and a special prize.

After the opening ceremony, participants split into two classrooms in the lecture building, where 14 papers (24 in total) were presented (9 participating schools, 65 presenters). After the afternoon presentations, a social gathering was held, allowing participants to exchange opinions with the presenters. Afterward, students were given the Grand Prize (1 paper), Excellence Award (2 papers), Excellence Award (3 papers), and Promising Award (3 papers), along with a special prize (research grant).

It was a hard day with oral presentations spanning the morning and afternoon, but we were able to share a fulfilling time and get a glimpse into the research being done at other schools.
