Biology Club here! On Monday, September 8th, the 38th Tokyo Conference of the Japanese Society for Microbial Ecology (sponsored by JSME: Japanese Society for Microbial Ecology) featured poster presentations by high school students at Tokyo University of Science (Meguro-ku).
Two poster presentations were given by first-year students from the Biology Club (5 schools participated, totaling 11 presentations). Of these, one presentation, “Antibacterial effect of mint tablets on oral bacteria using agar plate drilling method,” won the Excellent Poster Award.
We were also able to introduce our Biology Club research to many members of the society on the day. Thank you very much.
