Boys’ Soft Tennis Club National Tournament Preliminary Individual Division Winner

Thank you for your continued support and cooperation with the activities of the Yamamurakokusai High School Boys’ Soft Tennis Club.

On Saturday, June 7th, nine pairs from our school participated in the individual division of the qualifying round for the National Championships (Inter-High), held at Kumagaya Sakura Sports Park.

In this tournament, the top eight pairs are given the right to compete in the National Championships, and three pairs, Machida (2nd year: Matsuyama) and Ishii (3rd year: Niiza Daisan), Nakamoto (2nd year: Tsurugashima) and Suda (2nd year: Kitamoto Nishi), Matsumura (3rd year: Ogawa Higashi) and Katayama (3rd year: Yoshimi), have successfully earned the right to compete in the Inter-High!

Among them, the Machida/Ishii pair made steady progress and won fierce battles in the semi-finals and finals, achieving their long-awaited victory!!
