101st National High School Football Contest
On 28 August, 2022 by KlausThe 101st National High School Soccer Championship Saitama Preliminary Round 1 was held on August 24th (Wednesday) and August 27th (Saturday). Yamamura Kokusai Soccer Club defeated Kitamoto High School and Iruma Koyo High School and were able to secure a place in the second qualifying round of the prefectural tournament for the third consecutive year.

Summer of Wind Ensemble
On 13 August, 2022 by KlausOn August 4th, Yamamura Kokusai Wind Ensemble won the gold prize in the A section of the Saitama Prefecture Brass Band Competition held at the Saitama City Cultural Center and moved forward to participate in the prefectural tournament. On July 31st, they participated in the National High School Cultural Festival Tokyo Tournament (Tokyo Sobun 2022)

Quintet, quartet, triplet wins!!!

The saxophone quintet won the gold medal and the Saitama Governor’s Award / Saitama Newspaper Award, the flute quartet won the gold medal and the encouragement award, and the clarinet triplet won the gold medal.
