Newcomer Track and Field Championships Results Report

The Newcomer Track and Field Championships were held at the Kumagaya Sports and Culture Park Athletics Stadium from September 26th to 28th.

Our school sent two runners to compete in three events: the women’s 1500m, 3000m, and 5000mW. Women’s 1500m: Yuzuki Saito (1st year) Preliminary Group 3: 5:07.15 (6th in her group)

Women’s 3000m: Yuzuki Saito (1st year) Final: 10:47.69 (18th in her group)

Women’s 5000mW: Yuna Senuma (2nd year) Final: 34:40.40 (15th in her group)

While the results revealed many areas for improvement, both the participating runners and the supporters demonstrated their full potential.

We will continue to work hard to improve ourselves and ensure that everyone crosses the finish line with a smile at the prefectural relay race!
