Track and Field- Tournament Results

The Saitama Prefectural High School Track and Field Newcomer Tournament, Western Regional Tournament, was held at Kumagaya Sports and Culture Park Athletics Stadium on September 12th and 13th.

After overcoming a tough summer of training, each and every participant gave it their all.

As a result, first-year student Saito placed third in the 1500m and third in the 3000m, a personal best, securing a spot in the prefectural tournament in both events.

We will do our best to improve our records and compete at the prefectural tournament. Some athletes did not achieve the results they had hoped for, and some were unable to make it to the starting line due to injury, but everyone played their part in supporting and cheering us on. We will turn this disappointment into strength and work hard to become even stronger!
