We held a send off party!

On 20 July, 2024 by Sasaki

On Friday, July 19, Yamamura Kokusai held a two part send off party at our school gymnasium.

Part 1: Congratulations for the Baton-twirling Club, Men`s Soft Tennis Club, Broadcasting Club, and the Dance Club. We wanted to recognize these students who have recently won awards in their various fields.

After an explanation of the tournaments that they participated in from their advisors, the representatives of each club expressed their gratitude and feelings for the tournament, and renewed their determination to continue to do well.

Part 2: Paris Paralymics Men`s Javelin Throw- Japan National Team: Alumni Akihiro Yamazaki

At the send off for Mr. Yamazaki, who is an alumnus of our school`s baseball club and also compteted in the Tokyo Olympics, he talked about his experience and determination for the Paralympics to his juniors. The student council presented him with a bouquet of flowers. The students listened intently as he talked about the importance of pouring their passion into something they care about.

Newspaper Article about his visit.
