July-August<\/p>\n

The summer study trip is open to all students. It is a chance to do a homestay in a foreign country, to experience the culture and life, to form friendships, to foster understanding and to grow as an individual and as a global citizen.<\/p>\n

In 2023, our students visited Australia.<\/p>\n

California<\/strong><\/h2>\n

In 2019, we took 14 students to California to experience homestays and a real school experience. Yamamura Kokusai students passed a week studying with the students of Hilltop High in San Diego. The great kindness of Hilltop High staff and students, and the uniquely American experience will last with the students for the rest of their lives.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The ten day trip was topped off with visits to the beach with their school buddies and then half a day in Los Angeles Disney Resort.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Canada<\/h2>\n

Previous years, we have been traveling to Canada for homestays and language lessons. The beautiful city of Vancouver and downtown Victoria Island have played host to many wonderful memories.<\/p>\n

In summer, 2016, 2017 and 2018, students in increasing numbers went to the beautiful city of Vancouver in Canada, where they have visited Government House, the museum, China Town, the beach and a manor house, spending afternoons with buddies of the same age.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
