On May 26th, the 48th Tohoku Iaido Tournament was held in Niigata Prefecture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Six members of the Iaido Club were able to participate in the individual games. Two of the members were able to advance to the second round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their advisor, Mr. Kamoshida, participated in the 7th stage of the individual demonstration and won the Special Excellence Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the opening, the representative teacher said, “One is for everyone, everyone is for one. Let`s make it a tournament where we can enhance each other.” Because Iaido has such a small population of participants, we are able to gain experience and learn from each other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our school`s Iaido Club will hold club activity experience sessions in July and August. Those who are interested in swords, those who like history, and those who are interested in participating even a little bit are welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
