On Tuesday, December 17th, Yamamurakokusai conducted disaster prevention drills with the help of the entire school and with the cooperation of the Sakado Tsugashima Fire Association with the aim of conducting not only drills but also experiential training in the event of disasters such as fires and earthquakes, so that we can respond quickly during disaster prevention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first years practiced fighting fires with a water fire extinguisher, the second years practiced moving through the smoke in case of a fire, and the third years experienced an earthquake simulation. In addition because the office staff also had their own drills (how to report an emergency), the entire school was able to participate on the training exercises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By conducting disaster prevention training, we are able to know only learn through knowledge but also the experience of what it would feel like it in those situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The students listened carefully to the explanations and instructions of the firefighters. At first they were nervous, but it was impressive to see them having fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
