On Sunday, February 9th, two bands from the light music club’s first-year students, Pliades. and Terro-Rhythm, participated in the 10th High School Rookies Festival (Kawagoe Minami venue) organized by the Saitama Prefecture High School Light Music Federation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This contest is for first-year students only, and this year’s level was much higher than in previous years. The Kawagoe Minami venue is a qualifying tournament for high schools in the western region, and is a region where Tokorozawa High School, which has advanced to the national tournament, and other schools that regularly make it to the finals, are crowded together, so it is a tournament that our school’s light music club would like to win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two bands who participated showed off their daily training skills to the fullest, and it was very impressive to see them playing hard while enjoying themselves and being nervous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately, they did not win a prize, but they listened intently to the high-level performances of other schools, with a view to the next tournament for second-year students and above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
