A third-year student&#8217;s research paper, &#8220;The Effect of Oral Intake of Cocoa Polyphenols on Sunburn Prevention in Hairless Mice,&#8221; submitted to the 16th Botchan Science Award Research Essay Contest (High School Division)* (sponsored by the Tokyo University of Science Alumni Association, Risso-kai), has been awarded a prize. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">We were notified of the award results at the end of September, and the winner was announced at the awards ceremony held on Sunday, November 9th, at the Tokyo University of Science Kagurazaka Campus. (The winner was absent from the ceremony as he was preparing to take entrance exams, so there is no media coverage.) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The winning research papers (excluding honorable mentions and encouragement awards) will be published as a collection of works from the 16th Botchan Science Award Research Essay Contest at the end of February next year (2026). Thank you very much. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">*The Botchan Science Award was established following the 2009 research essay contest (high school division). Its purpose is to invite research essays that will increase interest in science from high school students nationwide, and to hold presentations and award winners. The aim is to use this opportunity to contribute to the development of intellectual curiosity among high school students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is the Biology Club!
