We participated in the &#8220;Opening up the Future through Medicine and Engineering! Life Science Symposium&#8221; (sponsored by the Terumo Life Science Foundation, managed and planned by Leave a Nest), aimed at junior and senior high school students, held on Saturday, November 29th at the TKP Ichigaya Conference Center (Shinjuku Ward). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The event began with an opening ceremony in the afternoon, followed by keynote speeches (three presentations* by professors from the fields of medicine, engineering, and science), a panel session, and finally a poster exchange and hands-on event**. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">We decided to participate in this symposium because the Biology Club&#8217;s research fields are connected to medicine and science. We hope to gain some inspiration for our future research. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Thank you very much. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">*: &#8220;Transcending the boundaries between medicine and engineering: The creation of a smart treatment room and its future (Kobe University: Professor Yoshihiro Muragaki),&#8221; &#8220;The world&#8217;s first simple device that visualizes the invisible &#8216;mind&#8217; in real time (Keio University: Professor Yasue Mitsukura),&#8221; &#8220;Small forces will move the future: new technology created by molecular motors and swarms?
