71st Annual Sports Day

On Thursday, May 28th, Yamamura International High School held its 71st Annual Sports Festival.

The day was blessed with fine weather and high temperatures, making it a perfect day for a sports festival. Undeterred by the heat, the students gave their all in each event, filling the grounds with cheers and smiles.

For the third-year students in particular, this was their last sports festival of high school, and in the annual “class dance” competition, they fully showcased the results of their hard work and practice. Their creative performances were met with loud applause and cheers from the audience, making it a memorable event for the students.

Furthermore, while each team fiercely competed for the championship, this year the Red Team achieved a magnificent overall victory. Through the competitions and cheering, students demonstrated cooperation across grade and class boundaries, making it a wonderful sports festival where each student gave their best.
