Light Music Club- IZUI-JAM Participation
On 31 March, 2026 by SasakiOn Sunday, March 29th, four bands from our school’s light music club—the second-year band RollyPolly, the mixed first and second-year band Jupiter, and the first-year bands Yozakura and Hexa Beat—participated in “IZUI-JAM,” held at the Hatoyama Town Izumii Exchange Experience Area Exchange Hall. This event is a community exchange event planned by Hatoyama Town, and it was the first time in several years that our school’s light music club had participated in such an event organized by a local government.
Unlike regular competitions and joint live performances, this was a very valuable opportunity to perform in front of the general public, and it was also a great opportunity to reduce the nervousness that can lead to poor performances in competitions.
In addition to our school, bands from Saitama Heisei High School, Musashi Ogose High School, and Niiza Sogo Gijutsu High School also participated. It was very impressive to see them showcasing the results of their regular practice in front of the local community, performing with both nervousness and enjoyment.
The Light Music Club will continue to practice diligently every day in preparation for various competitions, domestic and international events, and joint live performances, striving to create music that everyone can enjoy.
